Aris discovered his passion for shipping while observing his father chartering vessels around the clock, listening to family stories about his grandparents’ sea adventures and boat spotting for months every summer in Skiathos island.
He graduated from Campion High School in 1999 and moved to the United Kingdom for the next four years to complete his BSc in Business Administration and MSc in Shipping, Trade and Finance at Loughborough and City Universities respectively. He was an intern at Sucden SA in Paris during the summer of 2001 in chartering and operations and at AKTOR SA during the summer of 2000 in accounting.
In 2004 he moved to the United States to work for Heidmar INC in the operations department. He returned to Greece in 2005 for a second master’s degree in Shipping, Transport and International Trade at Aegean University and to complete his army duties. In 2007 he took over the family business while his father was gradually retiring.
He’s been married since 2010 and has three kids. His passions include volleyball, basketball, dj-ing, live concerts and traveling.

Originated from the Island of Crete, Giannis realized in early age that shipping will be his path in professional life.
He entered University of Piraeus where he obtained a BSc in Maritime Studies. In 2007 and after fulfilling his military obligations, he moved to UK for a MSc degree in Marine Policy in Cardiff University.
In 2010 he started working in Chartering in Prime Maritime and in 2012 he joined Belnav bringing his personal brand of energy to the team.
He’s been married since 2014 and has two kids. His hobbies include travelling, reading history and shipping related articles and running.

Artemis has always been a shipping enthusiast, mostly due to her origins from the island of Naxos which has been a constant source of inspiration.
She obtained her BSc in Maritime Studies from the University of Piraeus (2015-2019) and has participated in various seminars in shipping. She completed her Internship at Belnav Inc. (July 2019 – September 2019) where she discovered her passion for chartering. The following year she successfully completed a full cycle of basic and advanced level of ECDL certification.
Since November 2020 Artemis has been employed at Belnav Inc.
During 2021 she successfully completed a full series of the “Shipping Gnosis Certificate” shipping seminars and got her certification as shipbroker by Hellenic Shipbrokers’ Association.
In her spare time she supports the Scouts of Greece on a voluntary basis, plays the piano and enjoys sailing, swimming and playing tennis.
